Transportation

Vector has a long-standing tradition of working with transportation providers to inform the public and stakeholders about upcoming projects. We have worked on highway and road studies, public transportation studies and long-range plans, pedestrian and biking projects, and transportation-related development. Our inclusive and proactive approach to engagement and outreach helps our partners ensure informed consent for major transportation projects. Informed consent means that members of the public may not agree with all project aspects, but they are informed and feel that their voices were heard. It is a practice that allows for both participation and dissent, critical components of public engagement. Our approach has resulted in new roads and bridges, major construction projects, new MetroLink lines and MetroBus routes, major streetscape improvements, biking and walking trails, and many more components of Missouri and Illinois’ transportation infrastructure.
