In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended, (NEPA), the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) has prepared a Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) analyzing the environmental effects related to the construction and operation of a new, purpose-built campus at one of four alternative locations in the greater St. Louis metropolitan area. NGA has selected the Agency Preferred Alternative as St. Louis City.

The FEIS includes the Agency Preferred Alternative, and during the 30-day review period, the public is invited to provide additional substantive comments on the Agency Preferred Alternative for 15 days starting April 1, 2016 and ending April 16, 2016. Comment online here. Substantive comments, previously unknown, will be considered in making a final site selection determination. NGA will issue a Record of Decision (ROD) following a review and assessment of comments received. The ROD will be issued no earlier than May 1, 2016, (40 CFR 1506.10).
